A Growing Threat

Back on the subject of Islam, it is important to note that to a Christian, Islam is evil even apart from terrorism. Any religion that claims to speak the truth while disregarding the life and teachings of Christ is a false religion that is evil to the core. The culture outside the church doesn't understand this. They have a "if it does not interfere with my life, you can do whatever you please" mentality. Christians, on the other hand, understand the importance of truth and the affect that false religions have on culture, law and every part of life.

If Islam continues to grow and increase in influence, cultures will suffer and freedom will be lost.

In America, it could happen like this:

2012 politicians begin to consider the Muslim vote, talk of opposing terrorism weakens, relationship with Isreal weakens
2024 Muslim votes becomes important in all elections, some Muslims elected to Congress
2036 Muslim vote becomes critical in all elections, nobody can be elected without pandering to the Muslim communities, many Muslims elected to Congress, Israel is attacked and America does nothing
2048 No one can be elected without the endorsement of the Islamic leaders in America or abroad, more Muslims elected to congress, Muslims run for president but are defeated
2060 Muslims hold majority of Congress and Muslim narrowly defeated in presidential race
2064 Muslim wins presidency be wide margin, foreign and American Muslims call for rewrite of constitution and instituting sharia law, nation becomes weak in opposing worldwide terrorism, begins to rationalize it
2068 Rewrite of constitution narrowly defeated
2072 New constitution featuring some elimants of sharia law becomes the law of the land, relations with radical Islamic nations becomes strong, Israel declared an enemy of America
2076 Constitutional amendments continue to favor sharia law, majority of justices now sympathetic to or submissive to sharia law, America makes alliances with terroristic Islamic nations, Latin America and parts of Asia condemn America
2080 Civil war breaks America into smaller independent nations, continous skirmishes throughout nation
2084 Sections of America become sponsors of terrorism worldwide
2096 Parts of America begin to bully and attack the few non-Islamic nations left in the world
2100 More civil wars lead to further segmenting of nation, smaller nations split by different brands of Islam
2104 The former nation of America ceases to be a world power and focuses on internal turmoil

Obviously, this is pure conjecture and is only one possible path that America could go down. This scenario does not factor in the possibility of nuclear attack by Iran, world war, a miraculous intervention by God and spiritual revival.
